Why We Made It
Despite the enormous bioplastics market, plastic alternatives made from corn, potato, sugarcane, and trees don’t fulfill their promises:
• They require resource intensive feedstocks. 
• They don’t perform well in many use cases.

• They’re expensive.

There is a pressing need for holistically better plastic alternatives. We see seaweed as a solution.
